Turn the spark into a practice

Your attention is powerful.
Give it direction.

Brain On Fire is an invitation to pause, notice your state, and choose your next step. Through Lifeguard X, The Living Dreamer brings the Art of Human Engineering into everyday practice.

Start small: a moment of awareness, a comfortable breath, one deliberate action. Come back to it tomorrow.

A rhythm you can return to

Three moves. Your pace.

No perfect score. No pressure to perform. Just a little space to pay attention.

01 / NOTICE

Check in.

Take stock of your energy and attention. Name how you feel without turning it into a judgment.

02 / RESET

Find your rhythm.

Let your breathing settle into a comfortable pace. Use the guided minute below, or simply pause in your own way.

03 / DIRECT

Choose one action.

Pick a useful next step: take a walk, begin a task, or connect with someone. Make your intention concrete.

THE FULL JOURNEY · 4 MIN

Continuum

One experience. Every next step. From a moment of awareness to the world around you.

Product vision and app demonstration. Wearable and AR connections are proposed. Illustrative signals; no diagnosis or treatment.

YOUR FIRST MINUTE STARTS HERE

Less noise. More presence.

Follow the circle for a gentle 60-second pause: breathe in for four counts, rest for two, and breathe out for four. Keep it easy; skip the pause or return to your usual breathing whenever you prefer.

    Lifeguard X / Connected experience

    Brain. Body. Context.

A device architecture for the Yellow Brick Road: notice your experience, mark a moment, and reflect on what changed.

Integration workspace · No devices connected. This release records manual session markers only. No live EEG, heart, oxygen, temperature, audio, or camera data is collected here.

Available now · App Calm Check

    Muse EEG

Brain electrical activity, contact quality and movement context. Additional PPG signals depend on the Muse model and SDK support.

Available now in the Lifeguard X app's Calm Check (opt-in, on-device). Build: licensed Muse SDK → phone Bluetooth → timestamped EEG windows and signal-quality checks. Motion and poor contact can distort EEG. Muse app calm scores are not supplied by the SDK.

Ready to connect in the app once enabled

    Oura Ring

Sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate, nighttime skin-temperature deviation and average sleep SpO₂.

Oura uses optical PPG, not ECG/EKG. Temperature is a change from baseline, not core temperature. Sleep oxygen averages are retrospective context, not live session oxygen monitoring. API access requires user authorization; Gen3+ requires active membership. Ready to connect in the app once enabled.

    Planned · Native toolkit

    Meta AI glasses

Hands-free prompts, spoken reflections and optional visual context. Display prompts only on compatible display glasses.

Use Meta's Device Access Toolkit in the mobile companion. Capability availability depends on model and permissions. Glasses are a context and interaction layer; this plan does not treat them as EEG, ECG, oxygen or temperature sensors.

How the signals will fit together

Native mobile companion → source-specific adapters → timestamped events → session timeline → reflection and review. Keep both measurement time and arrival time, units, device/model, permission state, signal quality and processing method. Missing or delayed measurements stay missing; never substitute synthetic vitals.

Muse is the candidate for session EEG. Oura provides recovery context after sync once enabled in the app. Meta provides prompts and optional context. Live ECG or session SpO₂ would require a separately validated compatible device and integration. Integration order: Muse Calm Check is live, Oura OAuth is built and waits for house credentials, then Meta native toolkit and hardware testing.

    Consent, privacy and interpretation

Future device access must be opt-in per source, with separate choices for EEG, health summaries, microphone and camera. Recording must be visibly indicated and easy to stop. Avoid capturing bystanders or sensitive surroundings. Keep raw recordings off by default and provide retention, export and deletion controls before enabling collection.

EEG and heart-rate changes cannot read thoughts, authenticate memories or prove that memory updating has occurred. Reflections describe your experience. This is a wellness design, not a diagnostic or trauma-treatment system. You can pause or end any exercise without completing a sequence.
